Santa Claus

Well, here we are, the holidays quite
literally right around the corner. I
remember telling my mother a few years back that
Christmas seemed to be coming around
quicker each and every year.
She thought that was quite funny, warning
that the bigger the circle of friends, the
more people you love and celebrate, the
shorter the days between Christmases. Of
course, as you know, she was right.
I can't even fathom how looming the holidays
must seem for people with children.
Not to mention the pressures for Santa, with a
world full of children awaiting his visit.
But it is still, for me, a holiday that is --in
itself-- a gift; meaning I believe in the
feelings, the embracing, the sharing. I do
believe in Santa Claus......he is in my heart,
so I know he is real. May you believe,
too!
